License tagging for Image:Chopspoons-m-w-a-1.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Chopspoons-m-w-a-1.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 12:06, 11 August 2007 (UTC)

Image copyright problem with Image:Chopspoons-m-w-a.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Chopspoons-m-w-a.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

Welcome[edit]

Welcome

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate encyclopedic contributions, but some of your recent contributions seem to be advertising or for promotional purposes. Wikipedia does not allow advertising in articles. For more information on this, see

If you still have questions, there is a new contributor's help page, or you can write {{helpme}} below this message along with a question and someone will be along to answer it shortly. You may also find the following pages useful for a general introduction to Wikipedia.

I hope you enjoy editing Wikipedia! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Please stop spamming[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. However, please do not add promotional material to articles, as you did to Chopsticks. Advertising, and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox", is strongly discouraged. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Please stop uploading promotional images as well. --Kjoonlee 10:10, 12 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Three revert rule[edit]

Hi, you have reverted my edits more than three times. This is against the Wikipedia:Three-revert rule, which is official policy. Please stop. --Kjoonlee 10:21, 12 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, this is not an advertising or promotional image indeed. Are you chinese? i am a beginner in Wiki, could you tell me how to do?--Ahnew81 10:47, 12 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

WP:3RR[edit]

I see that you are a new editor and that you may be unfamiliar with the three-revert rule. You are not allowed to add or delete the same piece of text or photos more than three times in a 24 hour period. Unfortunately, your content is not suitable for Wikipedia, because it's written like an advertisement and the photo you've uploaded is clearly from a merchant.

Please read the 3RR policy and the external link policy, then step away from Wikipedia for at least 24 hours. If you add the content again today, you will be blocked, and if you do so again you can be permanently blocked. Thanks. - KrakatoaKatie 13:54, 12 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I prefer use my own language, hope you or someone can reply in Chinese.

I really do not know so many roles there, what I saw is: ‘Wiki, the free encyclopedia.’

The written is talking about the entire true and its just a little part of Chopspoons, there has no any contact information, those photos was I took by a very old camera for a friend. It is not an advertisement, it is a knowledge and a historic.

I will try again sometime, until surely that wiki is not allowing the good and beautiful thing.

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Chopspoons-m-w-a-1.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Chopspoons-m-w-a-1.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 08:11, 18 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
