Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. One of the core policies of Wikipedia is that articles should always be written from a neutral point of view. A contribution you made to Phil Woolas appears to carry a non-neutral point of view, and your edit may have been changed or reverted to correct the problem. Please remember to observe our core policies. Thank you. --Jza84 |  Talk  22:30, 12 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Nick Clegg

[edit]

I'm afraid I've had to revert you're contribution to this article as it breaches three of the main tenets of wikipedia. Firstly its actually news rather that encyclopedic comment you are adding which is not a function of an encyclopedia. Can I suggest you read WP:RECENT, this will give you a good idea of what is and what is not acceptable. Secondly it appears to be written from only one point of view, not a neutral point of view which is wikipedia's core value and lastly it also appears to breach guidelines for posting on living people. Its probably a good idea to read all three pages I've linked to then go back and have a look at how your contribution didn't conform with these policies for future postings. Do you honestly think that a non-news story in The Sun about nursery rhymes are at all notable to the career of a politician?? --Escape Orbit (Talk) 20:39, 19 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

John Redwood's case was entirely different as he was miming the national anthem of the country he was supposed to be representing, and it illustrated the lack of Conservative support and representation in Wales. Nick Clegg may have looked foolish, but the political implications are nil. This is a trivial, non-story that made for a filler item in The Sun for one day, it does not belong in a summary of Clegg's career. --Escape Orbit (Talk) 08:48, 21 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
