Information icon Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Sonam Kapoor. While objective prose about beliefs, organisations, people, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Diffs: [1] Your "affectionate" write-up of Sonam Kapoor is not appropriate tone for an encyclopedia. We're not here to write puff-pieces for people. Wikipedia strives to be an honest academic reference, and content must be written from a neutral point of view and in a professional tone befitting an encyclopedia. Content about how Kapoor isn't afraid to express her honest opinion in public is absurd for an article's lead, as is non-neutral language like "flop" and "highly acclaimed". You should familiarize yourself with some featured articles and maybe WP:YFA before writing more content. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 16:41, 24 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Greetings. At least one of your recent edits, such as the edit you made to Bipasha Basu, did not appear to be constructive and has been or will be reverted or removed. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make some test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. Hi, I understand your enthusiasm about the article, but please refrain from adding those tedious texts which resemble a lot of other articles of Indian actresses. You see, this is an FA-class biography that means that it is one of the best articles in Wikipedia, but that way it cannot be considered an excellent article. Please stop adding unreferenced or poorly referenced biographical content, especially if controversial, to articles or any other Wikipedia page, as you did at Raveena Tandon. Content of this nature could be regarded as defamatory and is in violation of Wikipedia policy. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Ajaystarrer, re: this, there was a very obvious embedded note in the |birth_date= parameter instructing you to provide a reference. There's no excuse for you not providing a reference. If you treat articles this casually after your block expires, future blocks will be longer. You're not helping to make the encyclopedia stronger by adding unsourced or improperly sourced content. And once again, your commentary about a person's outspoken personality has no place in articles. You were told about this in early 2016. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 01:53, 8 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
