Image tagging for Image:M 2fbccf7ad15192674ee18cb225fa5fcb.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:M 2fbccf7ad15192674ee18cb225fa5fcb.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

Yellowcard

[edit]

Hi. I see you have made several edits to Yellowcard. It would be much easier for you and for others if you would preview your edits before saving them. This would avoid cluttering up the history page with many minor edits. You can use the preview button and edit from there so only one combined edit is made. Thank you. ╦ﺇ₥₥€Ԋ (talk) 17:04, 2 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The image you added has no purpose. The name of the band in text is fine. The image will probably get deleted in a couple weeks anyway. As for the promo shot, I had uploaded the image and added some months ago, but the image was deleted and this live shot was put up. Your uploaded images will probably get deleted unless you put up a fair-use rationale. ╦ﺇ₥₥€Ԋ (talk) 17:29, 2 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:M 2fbccf7ad15192674ee18cb225fa5fcb.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:M 2fbccf7ad15192674ee18cb225fa5fcb.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 05:02, 7 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (Image:M 55d0e5ba7e59e07c322cdecd79e68000.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:M 55d0e5ba7e59e07c322cdecd79e68000.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 18:46, 7 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:PWTPS.png. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. -- STBotI (talk) 19:56, 16 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Uploaded Images

[edit]

Hi Alex. I see you have been uploading several images recently. This is a good thing IF you specify a license for them and IF you add a fair-use rationale for non-free images, which include band promo shots. Also, your images seem to have very long file names that consist of numbers. This is against Wikipedia policy. Images that are uploaded should be short and named so that the name describes the image. If you follow these simple guidelines, you won't get all those image deletion warnings on your talk page and your images won't get deleted. Furthermore, please refrain from uploading useless images; these images won't be used in articles, and that's why you keep getting orphaned image comments on your talk page. Please try to remember this in your future image uploads. Thank you. ╦ﺇ₥₥€Ԋ (talk) 03:58, 23 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yellowcard tour plans

[edit]

Your recent edit to Yellowcard has been reverted. The future tours information you added was unsourced. I suggest you read Wikipedia:Citing Sources to learn how to cite sources. Also, please do not add rumors to Wikipedia. An encyclopedia is for facts, not rumors. If you have any questions, please leave a message on my talk page. Switchfoot

[edit]

Please do not add nonsense to Wikipedia, as you did to the Switchfoot page. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. --T-rex 16:19, 6 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Hi Alex15alex!
We thank you for uploading Image:GW500H333.png, but there is a problem. Your image is currently missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. Unless you can help by adding a copyright tag, it may be deleted by an Administrator. If you know this information, then we urge you to add a copyright tag to the image description page. We apologize for this, but all images must confirm to policy on Wikipedia.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks so much for your cooperation.

Speedy deletion of Image:GW500H333.png

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Image:GW500H333.png requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section I9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on [[ Talk:Image:GW500H333.png|the talk page]] explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
