Welcome!
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you enjoy the encyclopaedia and want to stay. Before getting too in-depth, you may want to read about the simplified ruleset. If you need help on how to title new articles check out the naming conventions, and for help on formatting the pages visit the manual of style. If you need help look at Wikipedia:Help and the FAQ; plus, if you can't find your answer there, check the Village Pump (for Wikipedia related questions) or the Reference Desk (for general questions). There's still more help at the Tutorial and Policy Library. Also, don't forget to visit the Community Portal. And if you have any more questions after that, feel free to post them on my user talk page.
Additional tips
[edit]Here are some extra tips to help you get around in Wikipedia:
- If you want to play around with your new Wiki skills the Sandbox is for you.
- You can sign your name using three tildes (~). If you use four, you can add a datestamp too.
- You may want to add yourself to the new user log.
- If you ever think a page or image should be deleted, please list it at the votes for deletion page. There is also a votes for undeletion page if you want to retrieve something that you think should not have been deleted.
- If you're still entirely confused, or would like to get a better grasp of your wikipedia skills, and you have an IRC client (or don't mind getting one), check out the Bootcamp. It's not what it sounds like, but it is fun and can help you with your editing skills.

Stub for Armenia
[edit]Alex, it looks like you're writing a lot of short, new articles on Armenia. Thanks! That's a good thing to do for Wikipedia. May I make a suggestion? At the bottom of any short article that you start or find, you might want to put this {{Armenia-stub}} at the bottom. This will let others know that there is a stub on Armenia and will attract those who want to expand it. By the way, can you read or write Armenia? If so, would you be interested in translating English-Armenian or Armenian-English and also making links between articles in these two languages> Thanks. Interlingua talk 04:33, 15 June 2006 (UTC)
Armenia area
[edit]As Armenia has not annexed Nagorno-Karabakh nor Nachichevan, you cannot say those are part of it. Please stop changing articles to say so. --Golbez 07:41, 19 June 2006 (UTC)
- Also, do not remove mentions of things Azerbaijan from articles, and don't add a TV tower to a list of skyscrapers which is only for buildings and not antennae. --Golbez 07:42, 19 June 2006 (UTC)
- And thirdly, please don't change spellings from one style to another. When it's not obvious which to use, we stick with the original version. I note you readded the area thing to Armenia - please discuss it before doing it again. --Golbez 08:02, 19 June 2006 (UTC)
If you continue to make such inaccurate and POV edits, you may be blocked for a time to encourage you to actually discuss things. You know people are unhappy with them, so discuss them first. --Golbez 19:28, 19 June 2006 (UTC)
