A tag has been placed on your user page, User:IMTC International Malaysian Training Center, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be advertising which only promotes or publicises someone or something. Promotional editing of any kind is not permitted, whether it be promotion of a person, company, product, group, service, belief, or anything else. This is a violation of our policies regarding acceptable use of user pages — user pages are intended for active editors of Wikipedia to communicate with one another as part of the process of creating encyclopedic content, and should not be mistaken for free webhosting resources or advertising space. Contested deletion

This page is not unambiguously promotional, because... (your reason here) --IMTC International Malaysian Training Center (talk) 12:24, 7 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

i am not making an add for the company, i am just adding the company to Wikipedia, i didn't add any of the company training programs or services, i have just wrote 2 lines of descriptions and service area.

i the problem because i have the same user name as the company ?

please guied me to the correct way of adding the company to wikipeda

Wikipedia is not a place to merely tell about a company. That's considered promotional on Wikipedia, you do not have to be actively soliciting customers or selling something. As an encyclopedia, Wikipedia articles summarize what independent reliable sources with significant coverage have chosen on their own to say about (in this case) a company, showing how it meets the special Wikipedia definition of a notable company. If you are associated with this company, please review the information below. 331dot (talk) 13:02, 7 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Managing a conflict of interest

[edit]

Information icon Hello, AlexPhilip1970. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. 331dot (talk) 13:00, 7 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
