Ali Ahmed (Advocate) Urdu [علی احمد] is a renowned Pakistani Lawyer who was born on April 06, 1983. Ali had completed his Law Graduation in 2007 from Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan, and passed the Bar on 18.12.2008 and started law practice as an Advocate before Pakistani Courts. Ali also completed his Master in Business Administration in 2015 from National College of Business Administration and Economics, Lahore. Ali's hard work and dedication contributed in his popularity and he was offered a one year course from Harvard Law School. Ali is widely recognized as one of the leading courtroom lawyers (both trial and appellate) in Pakistan. Although he primarily represents business entities, he has handled several other high profile cases i.e. Veena Malik and has represented other celebrities from media industry. Ali is a Co-founder and Senior Partner at Anjum Hameed Law Firm with an extensive practice in complex civil litigation including constitutional, corporate, commercial, intellectual estate / property matters, labour and entertainment laws. Ali has the credit to represent the Public Works Department of Pakistan, Pakistan Post, Postal Life Insurance Company and Lahore Electricity Supply Company as State Counsel on behalf of the Ministry of Law and Justice, Pakistan. Advised Berkley Group of Companies in the UK for the new investment in Pakistan, and Legal Advisor to the Honorary Consulate of Latvia in Pakistan. As a Pro bono, Ali has pleaded constitutional matters and earned honour and success in High Profile matters including Restoration of Local Bodies Representatives, High-Treason Cases, Land Acquisition Matters in the Lahore High Court at Lahore.

Early Life

Ali was born on April 06, 1983, Layyah, Punjab, Pakistan to Alhaj Chaudhary Muhammad Ahmed from a well family known for wrestling.

Career

Education

Ali started his career in the education sector and has taught English as Second Language, he further had been teaching IELTS and TOEFL in the renowned education colleges of Pakistan. Ali has also served as Corporate Manager for Cambridge University for ESOL Project, English as Second Official Language in Lahore, Multan, DG Khan and Bahawalpur.

Law

Ali has started law practice from Islamabad as a Corporate Lawyer in 2008, and then moved to Lahore and joined Lahore office of Sheikh Muhammad Akram Senior Advocate, and subsequently joined law chamber of Mr. Ahmad Awais Advocate General, Punjab in 2015. Ali has assisted Mr. Ahmad Awais in constitutional matters before the Courts in high profile cases and also continued his private practice under the umbrella of Mr. Awais. Ali has become popular in 2017 when a cinema star Veena Malik divorce issue with Asad was highlighted, and Ali's name was published by national and international print and electronic media including Dunya News, Geo News, Sama TV, Gulf News and many other Bollywood magazines and newspapers. Ali has also represented and pleaded High Treason Cases in Pakistan.

Philanthropist

Ali has helped more than 5000 disciples across the globe by motivating them to success, polishing their skills in IT, Fashion, and Communication. Ali has also served as Vice President for Pakistan for Global Peace and Harmony for promoting international peace and bringing harmony among the masses by leading campaigns on the international human rights issues. Ali has also helped poor people who could not afford legal fee, serving them as pro bono which made Ali popular in Diplomatic Enclaves. He had numerous meetings and gatherings with Ambassadors, Heads of the missions and Consulate Generals. Ali's contribution in promoting and disseminating positivity was acknowledged by International Lawyers Club, UK by giving him lifetime membership. The Lahore High Court Bar Association Committee on International Legal Affairs designate Ali as an Honorary Additional Secretary of the committee. Ali had represented in cases of Public Interest Litigation and National interest, and one of his case was referred before International Court of Justice during the proceeding of Kalbushan Yadav case against him.
