your recent edit to CRM[edit]

Hi, AlmaMother. The article CRM falls into a class of wikipedia articles known as disambiguation pages. These pages are non-encyclopedic articles and their job is to help reader find content specifically within wikipedia. As such, the manual of style for disambiguation pages specifies that when editing disambiguation pages "never include external links, either as entries or in descriptions. Disambiguation pages disambiguate Wikipedia articles, not the World-Wide Web." So, I reverted your edit. Best wishes. Gwguffey (talk) 14:28, 19 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Creating that article would be a great idea. See the links in the welcome section above for info about how to create one and then add an entry to the dab page for your new article. Let me know if you have questions. Happy editing. Gwguffey (talk) 17:05, 28 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
As you mentioned it being a specific subject, then your challenge will be to provide enough verifiabile and reliable sources to establish the topic's notability strongly enough that the article does not fall victim to speedy deletion or article for deletion discussions immediately after you create it. I'm sure that you will do a great job. Gwguffey (talk) 17:19, 28 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading Image:Augusto_Murri.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 11:35, 21 July 2008 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. OsamaK 11:35, 21 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Giovanni Adamo[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Giovanni Adamo, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

non notable biography

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Stormbay (talk) 23:34, 15 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The article Giovanni Adamo has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

After a search I found nothing to support notability, so I am prodding as .. not notable musician.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. I have nominated Giovanni Adamo, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Giovanni Adamo. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. Off2riorob (talk) 21:28, 19 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Unreferenced BLPs[edit]

Hello AlmaMother! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 938 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

  1. Giovanni Adamo - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL
