Blocked for sockpuppetry

[edit]
Stop icon
You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for abusing multiple accounts per the evidence presented at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Alvrix3104. Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 05:12, 19 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

That was a really dumb move, as you can see wikipedia takes sock puppetry very seriously and it will get you blocked instantly. Since you're a fairly new editor, and have made some productive contributions to wikipedia, they will probably show leniency and let you edit again if you tell them that you have read and understood WP:SOCKPUPPETRY, and that you promise never to use multiple accounts to deceive other editors again. Along with vandalism, it's one of the big no-nos on wikipedia. MaxBrowne2 (talk) 08:10, 19 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Never mind I see you did the same thing as User:Alvrix3108. My sympathy has disappeared. You knew exactly what you were doing and you knew the likely consequence. MaxBrowne2 (talk) 14:45, 20 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I just wanted to make fair changes with the pages, but I didn't know that was allowed. Everything I wanted was to save my page from deletion, because I feel something important and I panicked when it was nominated for deletion. I'm sorry, just give me one chance and I promise that I will never do it again, wou have my word, this will never happen again. Alvrix3104 (talk) 13:28, 19 February 2021 (UTC)

Decline reason:

I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. Yamla (talk) 14:20, 19 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Alvrix3104, your best bet is to post here what you posted at UTRS. No guarantees, but it is a start. --Deepfriedokra (talk) 01:27, 22 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I want to request my chance to be unblocked. When I created my firsts page, I feel powerful and proud of making an article. When it was nominated to be deleted, I panicked because my I was afraid of losing the work that I created. I admit that I created 2 other accounts in a desperate attempt to save my page but I was caught. Now I have read everything about sock puppetry and now I understand that I something wrong. I abused of multiple accounts and betrayed Wikipedia trust and I'm sorry. Now I understand that the article that I created doesn’t have enough information to have an individual article, and you know what I won’t try to abuse multiple to save it. I understand if you don’t want to unlock me ver again, because I recognize that I abused your trust, but I made an article, and I contributed to Wikipedia. I'm new and I didn’t know that something you know as sock puppetry would exist, but when I see that I was under investigation I found out the existence of this. But you can’t deny that I made some productive contributions, I helped to expand Geralt of Rivia page, and created that Article. I also made corrections to some pages, between other things, and never created any edits wars. Now I have read everything about sock puppetry and now I understand why I can’t use multiple accounts, and I promise to never do something like this ever again. I was dumb and stupid, but If you unblock, I promise to continue making edits on Wikipedia to expand and make corrections about something, and I promise that sock puppetry will never happen again, but if you don’t and thinks this is not enough, then I understand that you don’t trust me anymore. I would be happy to be unblocked and to still contributing to Wikipedia.

Decline reason:

I suggest you follow the instructions in the standard offer. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 14:18, 10 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
