NA4

[edit]

Hi! I've been able to easily add portions of the roster from other websites (instead of manually typing in each player and his respective club), and I'm in the process of cross-referencing what I have with the official roster. Canada East's official roster can be found here. I've cross-referenced both USA clubs and will be spending time with the Canada rosters to make sure each player is included. If you know of a player that hasn't been added, please drop the reference on the talk page and add the player to the NA4 roster. As these invitational touring sides often have a lot of turnover, I'm including all of the NA4 participants as the original and current (for now) roster. I'll then add and remove players as necessary and perhaps keep a section for the more notable (i.e. internationally capped) players hoopydinkConas tá tú? 21:11, 17 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I think I've completed the rosters for each Canada squad, but I don't have complete information for each player's RCSL and parent clubs. Also, if you want to stick around and edit a bit, I'd love to collaborate on creating articles for all of the RCSL teams. Check out Rugby Super League and the team pages to see what I'd like to do with the Canada pages if you'd be interested. Cheers! hoopydinkConas tá tú? 21:49, 17 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Good stuff! There aren't that many Wikipedians that know a lot about North American rugby (I, myself, don't know a ton), so you'll be a great resource. Also, you might want to check out WikiProject Rugby Union, which is where most of those interested in rugby on Wikipedia discuss things and collaborate on articles. I didn't know that the home club had an impact on a player's RCSL team, so that's good to know! Thanks a lot and good to have you on! Cheers hoopydinkConas tá tú? 22:06, 18 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
