A tag has been placed on Roman Rewald requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles – see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. — Timneu22 · talk 12:26, 31 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

PLEASE LISTEN[edit]

You need to understand why your articles are being deleted. Information on Wikipedia must include reliable sources and independent third-party coverage. If you post an article about a group or a person, there must be an indication why the topic is important. You cannot post an article about some group, and use that group's own website as a "source". That's not independent. Please consider creating the article in your userspace, then getting feedback, and then posting. — Timneu22 · talk 13:01, 31 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Roman Rewald[edit]

You need to find something that shows how he meets the criteria set out Wikipedia:Notability (people). It's not enough that he is the chair of an organisation but why he is so important that he requires an article. Enter CBW, waits for audience applause, not a sausage. 13:02, 31 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You are absolutely right, an article on this important topic absolutely should exist. However there are several issues that you need to bear in mind first:

  1. You need to prove your organisation's notability, using externally verifiable, independent references. You have yet to do this.
  2. By virtue of the fact that your user name is Amchampoland (talk · contribs) you blatantly have a conflict of interest with this subject matter, and should be very careful designing articles about you or your organisation.
  3. "Other similar stuff exists so mine should too" is a common argument against deletion on Wikipedia, and one that holds absolutely no ground with admins. See WP:OSE for more information.

Welcome to Wikipedia. Because we have a policy against usernames that give the impression that the account represents a group, organization or website, I have blocked this account; please take a few moments to create a new account with a username that represents only you. If your username doesn't represent a group, organization or website, you may ask for a review of this username block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|Your reason here}}. Thank you. - Dank (push to talk) 13:19, 31 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
This is only a block because of the name you picked, not because of anything you've done. Please take a few moments to pick a username that represents just you, not the organization. Thanks. - Dank (push to talk) 13:20, 31 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
