July 2021[edit]

Information icon Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. [1] MrOllie (talk) 21:00, 28 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did at Workplace wellness, you may be blocked from editing. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. MrOllie (talk) 21:12, 28 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@MrOllie: excuse me Mr. Ollie, the page that you took down originally was an originally researched article that we spent a month doing research on. You have absolutely no right to discredit me like that, and it is quite apparent from your talk page that you have used this obtrusive behaviour against other users as well. Re-do the change, thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ameercontributes (talkcontribs)

No, Wikipedia does not use marketing materials such as vendor whitepapers as sources. Your comment here sounds like you are related to this company. See WP:PAID, as you would then be in violation of Wikipedia's terms of use. - MrOllie (talk) 21:20, 28 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@MrOllie: In that case Mr. Ollie, why don't you review this posting as well: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Workplace_wellness#cite_ref-57 It is obviously a company whitepaper, and the link is not even working...

Editing with a conflict of interest[edit]

Information icon Hello, Ameercontributes. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you.-- Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 21:21, 28 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

In that case @Ponyo:, you should serve a notice to the user that has posted this reference as well... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Workplace_wellness#cite_ref-57

You Wikipedia administrators are selectively bullying other users. It is not fair.
