This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Anahit Tsitsikian, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.armeniapedia.org/index.php?title=Anahit_Tsitsikian. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. Speedy deletion of Anahit Tsitsikian[edit]

A tag has been placed on Anahit Tsitsikian requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Copyright problem: Anahit Tsitsikian[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! We welcome and appreciate your contributions, such as Anahit Tsitsikian, but we regretfully cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from either web sites or printed material. This article appears to be a copy from http://www.armeniapedia.org/index.php?title=Anahit_Tsitsikian, and therefore a copyright violation. The copyrighted text has been or will soon be deleted.

If you believe that the article is not a copyright violation, or if you have permission from the copyright holder to release the content freely under the GNU Free Documentation License (GFDL), versions 1.3 or later then you should do one of the following:

  • If you have permission from the author leave a message explaining the details at Talk:Anahit Tsitsikian and send an email with confirmation of permission to "permissions-en (at) wikimedia (dot) org". See Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for instructions.
  • If a note on the original website states that re-use is permitted under the GFDL or that the material is released into the public domain leave a note at Talk:Anahit Tsitsikian with a link to where we can find that note.
  • If you own the copyright to the material: send an e-mail from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en(at)wikimedia(dot)org or a postal message to the Wikimedia Foundation permitting re-use under the GFDL, and note that you have done so on Talk:Anahit Tsitsikian.

It may also be necessary for the text be modified to have an encyclopedic tone and to follow Wikipedia article layout. For more information on Wikipedia's policies, see Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.

If you would like to begin working on a new version of the article you may do so at this temporary page. Leave a note at Talk:Anahit Tsitsikian saying you have done so and an administrator will move the new article into place once the issue is resolved. Thank you, and please feel welcome to continue contributing to Wikipedia. Happy editing! Somno (talk) 06:27, 7 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You should wait for others to write an article about subjects in which you are personally involved, as you did at Anahit Tsitsikian. This applies to articles about you, your achievements, your band, your business, your publications, your website, your relatives, and any other possible conflict of interest.

Creating an article about yourself is strongly discouraged. If you create such an article, it might be listed on articles for deletion. Deletion is not certain, but many feel strongly that you should not start articles about yourself. This is because independent creation encourages independent validation of both significance and verifiability. All edits to articles must conform to Wikipedia:No original research, Wikipedia:Neutral point of view, and Wikipedia:Verifiability.

If you are not "notable" under Wikipedia guidelines, creating an article about yourself may violate the policy that Wikipedia is not a personal webspace provider and would thus qualify for speedy deletion. If your achievements, etc., are verifiable and genuinely notable, and thus suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later. (See Wikipedia:Wikipedians with articles.) Thank you. THE AMERICAN METROSEXUAL 20:47, 20 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Hi I am very frustrated, I have been trying to add famous Armenian musicians to wikipedia, I have been stuck on trying to place Anahit Tsitsikian as one, but I hope to add Sergey Khachatryan,Avet Gabrielian,Manuk Parikian, Mikhail Simonyan,HRACHYA AVANESYAN,MOVSES POGOSSIAN and many more to the list (They are all world known musicians that have won many competitions this is just a list of violinist that I collected, I can also provide list of composers, pianist etc..). why is this sooo hard? I am doing this because some of the musicians that I am trying to place are no longer alive, so there is no promoting. If you want i can provide the names of the people that I think would be great addition to the encyclopedia and you can add them, but to let you know I already collected biography's from the individual sites, books etc. and it would be easy for me to add it. please let me know what you suggest to resolve this.

Decline reason:

Hello. Please note the information contained in the block notice above, particularly that which reads '...accounts are for individuals only, not for companies or groups or other collective editing, and your username should reflect this.' The relevant policy can be found here. I have not reviewed your edits, but if they are as you have described, you will probably simply need to request a username change. —Travistalk 00:28, 22 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Neither of those options address the concerns (see WP:USERNAME). Your account cannot appear to be a role account that is shared by anyone. The other concern, of course, is using Wikipedia to promote certain people or cultures. It is all well and good to edit and create articles about people that are notable, and that's why we're all here. However, make sure you understand what notable is, and understand how important reliable sources are. (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 12:22, 31 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
