An article you recently created, Aichi gubernatorial election, 2019, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Bare URLs

[edit]

Hi

Thank you for creating the article 2014 Nagasaki gubernatorial election, and several other articles on Japanese elections. I am an election nerd myself, so it's always good to see coverage expanded.

However, most of these articles used bare URLs for references. This is a problem, because bare URLs are uninformative to readers and are prone to Linkrot.

It seems that you may have been aware of this problem, since you tagged at least some of these articles with the cleanup banner tag {{Linkrot}}. That is better that nothing, but it is nowhere near as good as actually filling out the full citation yourself, using {{cite web}} or {{cite news}}.

For guidance on how to fill refs, so WP:HOWTOCITE. If you have any uestions, please feel free to ask me. BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 09:16, 30 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Quick tip

[edit]

Thanks for your election articles; I'm pretty confident they satisfy our notability guidelines. A tip: Put your citations outside of headers and into the main text; having citations in headers causes various technical problems. I've done this for the 2022 Nagano gubernatorial election article. Thanks again! Ovinus (talk) 20:41, 7 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
