Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Andelgado223, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Ian and I work with Wiki Education; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Lavandula, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. See WP:MEDRS and WP:WHYMEDRS. We don't use unreliable sources from alternative medicine for content related to human health. Alt Med is quackery. Content related to diseases like epilepsy requires the strongest MEDRS sources, typically a systematic review. Zefr (talk) 22:13, 17 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

You really should look at WP:MEDRS if you're going to edit medical information. We have high sourcing standards for medical information. We don't use unreliable journals (such as altmed journals), and we generally don't report on primary studies at all, especially animal studies. - MrOllie (talk) 13:01, 18 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's no original research policy by adding your personal analysis or synthesis into articles, as you did at Cheetos, you may be blocked from editing. Le Marteau (talk) 02:59, 19 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
