A tag has been placed on Smallwood Consulting LLC requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Managing a conflict of interest[edit]

Information icon Hello, Andrew Smallwood. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the article Smallwood Consulting LLC, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, please:

  • avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your circle, your organization, its competitors, projects or products;
  • instead propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Please familiarize yourself with relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. Thank you. AllyD (talk) 07:36, 26 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Your article[edit]

Over the years, the community at Wikipedia have discussed and set standards for inclusion, in particular, for notability and referencing. Please read WP:CORP about notability for companies, and WP:RS about the reliable independent sources needed to prove the notability. Please remember that Wikipedia is not a directory or social media and that there is no 'right' to an article here. There is no principle of 'fairness' either - if there are seven makers of blodgets in the world, and six of them pass our policies, the seventh won't get an article unless it also passes. On this, please see WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS. We are aware of the power that having an article here can have on search results (and a lot of us wish it wasn't that way), and strongly discourage attempts to use Wikipedia for SEO purposes. Please feel free to ask questions - if I can't answer, I'll try to find someone who can. Peridon (talk) 10:03, 26 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I forgot above you to refer you to WP:COI - our policy on conflict of interest. Theoretically, all editors are here to help build the encyclopaedia, and editing about subjects they are very close to is regarded as being in conflict with this. COI editing is not forbidden, but it is strongly discouraged as neutrality is hard to achieve when one is very close to a subject. You actually did pretty well there for someone in your line of business - most people on the PR side of the fence seem unable to understand that their unique and excellent offerings intended to leverage advancement under the guise of providing encyclopaedic information are seen through very quickly here and removed. Thank you. AllyD (talk) 06:58, 20 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
