Ludwig von Vogelsang[edit]

Copyright-problem.svg

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Ludwig von Vogelsang, and it appears to be a substantial copy of http://www.napoleon-series.org/military/organization/Austria/ArmyStudy/c_AustrianArmyInfantry.html.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. Battle of Piave River[edit]

I noticed that you moved Battle of Piave River (1809) to Battle of Piave River. You may wish to reconsider this because the WW1 battle is called Battle of the Piave River. It looks like the bot got it completely wrong about Vogelsang. How can a 1-sentence stub be a copyright infringment? We seem to share an interest in the Napoleonic Wars. I see how you've updated the Battle of Marengo article and hope you will request that it be assessed for B-class when you are done working on it. Djmaschek (talk) 02:19, 11 September 2010 (UTC)

Parsecboy moved it back to Battle of Piave River (1809) upon request. I added a new page for Anton von Zach for your Battle of Marengo article. It was also something I was working on. Your friend Alexandru.demian and I have crossed paths before. We came to an amicable understanding about how to list who won close battles such as Battle of Toulouse (1814) and Battle of Caldiero (1805). Djmaschek (talk) 23:43, 20 September 2010 (UTC)

The Milhist election has started![edit]

The Military history WikiProject coordinator election has started. You are cordially invited to help pick fourteen new coordinators from a pool of twenty candidates. This time round, the term has increased from six to twelve months so it is doubly important that you have your say! Please cast your vote here no later than 23:59 (UTC) on Tuesday, 28 September 2010.

With many thanks in advance for your participation from the coordinator team,  Roger Davies talk 21:17, 16 September 2010 (UTC)

Salut! Ciao, Alex --Alexandru Demian (talk) 10:26, 25 February 2011 (UTC)

ACR Request[edit]

Hi there, I notice you're signed up to the WikiProject Military history/Napoleonic era task force in MILHIST, and wondered if you would be interested in conducting an A-class review for Battle record of Arthur Wellesley, 1st Duke of Wellington, based on your "speciality" areas, i.e. battles; I require one more Support review before it will be applicable to raise it from B to A-class quality. Thanks, Ma®©usBritish (talk) 05:44, 6 July 2011 (UTC)

ArbCom elections are now open![edit]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
