Deletion discussion

[edit]

Hi -- I was in the process of notifying you that I've nominated an article you've created, Kiernan Majerus-Collins, for deletion but it appears you've already discovered that. Please note that deletion discussion notices should not be removed from articles, like you did here: [1] and that clearing deletion discussions is probably against some policy too, so I'd advise against this as well: [2]. Feel free to participate in the discussion, however. Best Dcpoliticaljunkie (talk) 22:35, 31 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I'm reasonably new at this, but I made the article because Majerus-Collins represents me in local government, and because he's been getting a lot of press lately. I'd appreciate advice from you about how to make the article better (I'm not sure how to do in-line citations, for instance), but I don't see why you feel the need to attack me like this.

If your interested in improving the article best place to start would be the tutorial pages. Your best option for being able to work on this would be to request at the deletion discussion page that its moved to draft space where you can work on it further until its ready to go live. But what is the problem with having the page as-is, and allowing people to work on it? I don't know how to do what you're suggesting, but if you think that's what best, go for it.
