Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Nair, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Sourcing in lead sections[edit]
WP:LEAD says that statements in the lead section of an article do not need to be sourced there. The lead section is a summary of the article proper, and if the statements are sourced elsewhere in the article then there is no need to duplicate them in the lead. For this reason, I have reverted your edit at Nair. Please note also that your reference to the statement being "derogatory" has no basis in Wikipedia's policies: this project is not censored. - Sitush (talk) 11:12, 24 February 2012 (UTC)
