License tagging for Image:Lipsius01.jpeg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Lipsius01.jpeg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 22:11, 27 December 2006 (UTC)

Paul Sedeille Page

[edit]

Excuse me, their is no need to talk nastily about it. I simply placed tag on the article requesting it to be translated in to English as it is written on the English Wikipedia but in a different language. If you want this article to remain on Wikipedia it will have to be translated in to English or written on another Wikipedia in which the language it is written in.

Respectfully.... TellyaddictTalk 18:39, 29 December 2006 (UTC)

Hi, I do not have a history for tagging articles for speedy deletion without due cause, the article which I discussing with the user Samir a little while back, at first I had every right to tag that article for speedy deletion but the article has now been improved so there is no due cause for speedy deletion now. I am a experienced user with thousands of contributions to Wikipedia, I know what I am doing and in the future (some friendly advice) try to speak nicely or neutrally to users on their talk page because if you dont this may give you a bad reputation(because you spoke in a nasty manner to me). Others though may not be as understanding and maybe nasty in return to you (even though I was nice as I would like to keep a good reputation on Wikipedia). and please remember to sign your name on talk pages using the four tildes

Respectfully.... TellyaddictTalk 18:59, 29 December 2006 (UTC)

Image tagging for Image:Lipsius03.jpeg

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did in Hans Auer. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that exist to attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policies for further explanations of links that are considered appropriate. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. See the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you.

Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Image:SédillePrintemps.jpeg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Videmus Omnia 13:11, 13 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:NicolaiPorträt2.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:NicolaiPorträt2.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 20:23, 6 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
