February 2024[edit]

Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Nikolay Tsiskaridze, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Materialscientist (talk) 11:40, 5 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add or significantly change content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did with this edit to Vaganova Academy of Russian Ballet. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Materialscientist (talk) 11:42, 5 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Vaganova method[edit]

I see the material you've just added - which pages of the Vaganova book does this come from? I'm having trouble finding it. TooManyFingers (talk) 23:37, 19 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I checked carefully and none of this material is in Vaganova's book. Since that was the only reference you gave, I had to roll back your edit (i.e. completely erase it).
For every idea you write on Wikipedia, you must be able to show who published it and where it came from. You are not permitted to write about your own ideas or your own experience, unless you prove that reliable publications agree with you. TooManyFingers (talk) 00:02, 20 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Edit summaries[edit]

Hello again :)

When you are editing a Wikipedia page, just before you press the "Publish" button you are given a space to type an explanation of what you have just done. Please use those! When one editor does not explain what they have done, it makes things more difficult for everyone else. TooManyFingers (talk) 00:18, 20 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Question about dance[edit]

Are you employed in the field of dance? (dancing, or working for any dance-related organization)? TooManyFingers (talk) 00:38, 20 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
