May 2024[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Grabup. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Aline Gubbay have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. Thanks. Hello Grabup. Could you please let me know why you would consider that specifying the name of Aline Gubbay's thesis and providing a link to the published version on the Concordia University site is not constructive? Or why highlighting Aline Gubbay's significant contribution to the Westmount Historical Association is not constructive - under her guidance, the WHA was revitalized in 1994 and obtained accreditation as a Quebec registered charitable organization? Perhaps the link I provided was not specific enough? The following link provides more specific information: https://westmounthistorical.org/about/ Architect in Montreal (talk) 23:36, 22 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I undid your second edit to Clara Gutsche as the content was not in the following citation. You used "MFA" for a degree. The source gives her degree as master of arts; it is normally abbreviated "MA" or "AM".
Re Aline Gubbay, the URL https://westmounthistorical.org does not support her as being a president. westmounthistorical.org/about/ perhaps. It is best if sources are not wp:primary which may be self-serving. Secondary or tertiary sources are preferred. Please use a full citation and not a bare URL. See wp:citing sources and/or help:referencing for beginners.
Re: the thesis, see WP:SCHOLARSHIP. Is it pertinent to the topic or is it wp:COATRACK? It might be OK to add the thesis link in the Publications section or in an External links (info) section (below the References section) with a single sentence description. Don't quote me on this - not my area. If you have questions, I recommend asking at the wp:Teahouse for fast, expert answers. Cheers Adakiko (talk) 00:49, 23 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
