[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to Circus (Britney Spears album), is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Percxyz (talk) 16:08, 17 April 2009 (UTC)
Welcome to Wikipedia. A page you recently created, Kill The Lights, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines for new pages, so it will shortly be removed (if it hasn't been already). Please use the sandbox for any tests. For more information about creating articles, you may want to read Your first article. You may also want to read our introduction page to learn more about contributing. Thank you. Percxyz (talk) 16:09, 17 April 2009 (UTC) My apologies! It seems you didn't create the page. Sorry. :) Percxyz (talk) 16:10, 17 April 2009 (UTC)
top40-charts.com
[edit]Please do not include charts from top40-charts.com in Wikipedia articles. Existing links are tolerated until someone gets around to replacing them, but new links should not be inserted: see WP:Record charts for guidance about charts.—Kww(talk) 18:55, 26 June 2009 (UTC)
Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did to If U Seek Amy. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. - eo (talk) 19:31, 26 June 2009 (UTC)
Please do not add the Mexican Hot 100, or any other chart listed at WP:BADCHARTS, to any Wikipedia articles. I can see that this is your third warning related to bad charting information. Please take the time to read WP:CHARTS before adding more chart data to Wikipedia.—Kww(talk) 19:24, 26 October 2009 (UTC)
I saw your comments at 3 (song), and I'll try one more time to explain. WP:BADCHARTS contains a lists of charts that are not to be added to any Wikipedia articles under any circumstances. That includes such charts as the Italian singles chart at acharts.us, the Mexican Hot 100, and the United World Chart (a.k.a. "World Singles Chart"). It doesn't matter if you can find a source that says they charted on those charts, the charts themselves are bad. They cannot be included in any Wikipedia articles. That is why people keep removing them. You can see that this is the fourth time you have been warned about this. Pay attention, or I will start treating this as intentional vandalism.—Kww(talk) 22:35, 1 November 2009 (UTC)
component charts
[edit]I know you must be getting frustrated, and I'm sorry. "Pop Songs" and "Digital Songs" are component charts of the Billboard Hot 100. That means that those charts are part of the formula for deciding the position on the Billboard Hot 100. WP:Record charts says that component charts are only to be included if the song did not make the main chart. In other words, if a song doesn't make the Hot 100, but is listed on Digital Songs, it's fine to put in Digital Songs. If it does make the Hot 100, then Digital Songs should not be listed.—Kww(talk) 12:10, 2 November 2009 (UTC)
Preview Button
[edit]Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Regarding your edits to 3 (song), it is recommended that you use the preview button before you save; this helps you find any errors you have made, reduces edit conflicts, and prevents clogging up recent changes and the page history. Thank you. ---Shadow (talk) 17:44, 2 November 2009 (UTC)
Disruptive editing
[edit]This edit has crossed the line into intentional disruption. You have been told earlier that the Italian Singles Chart from acharts was unacceptable. What you did with that edit was to take the position that you knew was wrong, and provide a false reference to make it appear to be reliably sourced. That is deceptive and disruptive. Do not do this kind of thing again. Deceptive editing will result in you being blocked from editing.—Kww(talk) 15:46, 5 November 2009 (UTC)
You've been asked before
[edit]Please see WP:CHARTS and WP:BADCHARTS
[edit]Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at 3 (song), you will be blocked from editing. - eo (talk) 19:44, 17 November 2009 (UTC)
- Have you read the guideline on charts that has been linked on your talk page multiple times? Hot100Brasil should not be used. Do not re-add it.
- This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits, such as those you made to 3 (song). If you vandalize Wikipedia again, you will be blocked from editing. - eo (talk) 19:56, 17 November 2009 (UTC)
Your edits in 3 (song)
[edit]Since i explained it and you don't seem to understand, here i am. The links you're providing (such as http://www.billboard.com/charts/european-hot-100) are links for the CURRENT positions of the chart. 3 is NOWHERE to be seen. we need a link for the charts archives, which is not available for free in Billboard. same applies to Japan Hot 100 and any other minor Billboard charts. This is my last warning. Xwomanizerx (talk) 14:42, 23 February 2010 (UTC)
