Proposed deletion of Rozenkwit

[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Rozenkwit, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Unreferenced and hardly notable: ~600 Google hits - possible hoax/OR.

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Rozenkwit

[edit]

Hello, Arriusjensen. I have done a bit of work on the article Rozenkwit to make it fit in better to the Wikipedia style. I changed the words in some places where I thought the meaning was not very clear. Please read through what I have done to check that what I have interpreted is correct.

It's a very interesting article. Where did you get the earlier information from? (the 11th and 15th centuries)

Thanks for your work on Wikipedia. Regards, Hebrides (talk) 12:23, 25 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

On Rozenkwit issue...

[edit]

Dear Arriusjensen I read you article on Rozenkwit. My name is Ester Hadassa Sandler, nee Ester Hadassa Rozenkwit. So you can figure how moved I was when my brother sent me your page. For decades we were unable to find anybody else called Rozenkwit, and we tried a lot! My father came to Brazil in 1935, he was born in 1916 the same year he lost his father. Two sister of him were already settled in Brazil. An eldest brother chose to stay in Poland and was murdered with all his family in Olyka. My father died in 1990, some years before this kind of information could be reached. In 1964 my father met a cousin in Israel, but I do not remember her name. Around 2000, a man living in Great Britain sent me an email, asking for some data. He wrote that his mother´s or grandmother's surname was Rozenkwit or a relative. He asked me a lot of questions but did not told me his name and disappeared. Every time I travel, I search for a Rozenkwit, for instance in the phone catalogues. Have I eventually found one now? I would like to know, if possible, why you wrote about this "issue", and how did you find the data displayed in this page. Can you help me? I will be very happy if you could, because part of my history is missing. Yours sincerely Ester EsterHadassa (talk) 20:08, 26 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
