Hi, I noticed that you recently edited Bayview Glen School. In addition, it appears that the page is in the middle of some heavy edit warring between, as you put it, administration and students. I just want to remind you that wikipedia is an encyclopedia, which means several things. One is that you should not put a section about "Abuse" in the article, that should be taken to the article's talk page. Second is that you should try to keep a neutral point of view. I realize that these two ideas are hard to keep in mind when there are two sides to such an issue, but one or both sides could potentially be blocked if this warring keeps up.

Hi, I would like to know your reasons for removing the abuse section from the article Bayview Glen. It has been a reoccurring issue with that article, and I'm starting to grow doubtful that the situation will ever change. I placed that section up to arouse awareness to the issue in the hopes that both parties would discontinue their abuse. And I've just read your response, bit slow sorry. I have no doubt that the information currently on the article will be removed by a member of the staff, and shortly afterwards be replaced with malicious material from the students in retaliation. I removed the abuse section because it is inconsistent with the policies of wikipedia. We generally don't self-reference or talk about administrative details in the articles. That kind of stuff is for an article's talk page. The article should be solely dedicated to the topic of the article, just like how you would see it in a regular printed/book encyclopedia.

As for how to deal with the situation, I'm not an expert in these matters, but my knowledge of it goes somewhat like this: Unfortunately there's no easy way in this situation. Since most of the students (possibly the staff) are IP editors (that is, they are anonymous) we cannot really initiate dispute resolution procedures, since IP editors bounce from IP to IP (that is, they don't have an account with a name that we can verify and know who we are talking to). This also makes banning the responsible parties hard; wikipedia generally does not do IP bans since they affect many people other than the ones committing the vandalism. The best course of action currently is to improve the article and whenever vandals vandalize the page, to immediately revert it. If they are currently in the process of vandalising (generally at that minute) you can report them to administrator intervention against vandalism and they can block the IP for a short amount of time. Also note on that page that it requires you to place warning tags to alert the users that they are vandalizing and also to provide a history so that administrators can see that they are persistent vandals.

I've de-linked David Hasselhoff, as the person that that would link to is definitely not the character in the story. I think that was the intended message behind User:The Kinslayer's remark about not linking to random people.
