Welcome!

Hello, AshokTodawata, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your recent edits to the page Nagavanshi have not conformed to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and has been or will be removed. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or in other media. Always remember to provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles. Additionally, all new biographies of living people must contain at least one reliable source.

The article Todawata has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unsourced and no indication that this meets the general notability guideline.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Relatives

Please do not create articles about your relatives, as you appear to have done at Hanuman Sahai Jat. You may benefit from a read of our attitude to conflicts of interest. Thanks. - Sitush (talk) 00:43, 13 March 2018 (UTC)

You appear to be attempting to expand the article now. Have you read the link above - WP:COI? - Sitush (talk) 12:58, 13 March 2018 (UTC)

Hello Ashok Todawata

!Voting twice

You have now registered two keep comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Todawata. You cannot do that and so will need to strike out one of them. You can leave the comment there but should make the "keep" look like Keep. I can do that for you if you let me know whether you want it to be the first or second that stays as it is.

I'll add that since blogs and caste-affiliated websites are not reliable sources, neither of those comments are going to make any difference to the outcome. This has already been explained in the discussion there. You need to find books, academic papers or significant news stories unaffiliated to the caste etc if you want to argue that it has suitable coverage. - Sitush (talk) 15:00, 15 March 2018 (UTC)

A tip

Hi, I see you are still attempting to improve the two articles that are currently being discussed regarding deletion. Your changes are not likely to make any difference to the outcome and, as I have said to you before, you should not even be editing the one that concerns your grandfather.

It is quite common for people new to Wikipedia to attempt to create new articles at the outset and quite often those articles are unsuitable for inclusion because the creators do not understand our policies and guidelines. It might be better if you - like them - began by editing existing articles, of which we have over five million, and through that learn what is and is not acceptable here. - Sitush (talk) 13:16, 16 March 2018 (UTC)

Thanks Sitush for your tip, and I'm reading Wikipedia's policies and guidelines to improve my knowledge. I assure you that next articles are fully sourced and reliable for citation. Ashok Todawata Talk 13:28, 16 March 2018 (UTC)

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Hanuman Sahai Jat requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, a group of people, an individual animal, an organization (band, club, company, etc.), web content, or an organized event, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. It appears that you have been canvassing—leaving messages on a biased choice of users' talk pages to notify them of an ongoing community decision, debate, or vote—in order to influence Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Todawata. While friendly notices are allowed, they should be limited and nonpartisan in distribution and should reflect a neutral point of view. Please do not post notices which are indiscriminately cross-posted, which espouse a certain point of view or side of a debate, or which are selectively sent only to those who are believed to hold the same opinion as you. Remember to respect Wikipedia's principle of consensus-building by allowing decisions to reflect the prevailing opinion among the community at large. Thank you. MT TrainTalk 00:44, 18 March 2018 (UTC)
