Hello AuntieMormom, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your recent edit to Mormon, one of the articles that is part of the Latter Day Saint movement WikiProject. We welcome your contributions and hope that you will stay and contribute more. Here are some links that I found helpful:

If you run into a dispute, please use the Talk pages and the Latter Day Saint movement project talk page to discuss subjects (especially controversial ones) to help reach consensus. But don't be afraid to be bold!! Also, as new Mormonism-related articles are created, please make sure to add them to List of articles about Mormonism.

Remember to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). This will automatically add your name and the time after your comments.

And finally, if you have any questions or doubts, don't hesitate to contact me on my Talk page. Once again, welcome! =)

I'm with ya!

[edit]

Your comments here, in reguard to the terms "Mormon" and "Latter Day Saint" are right on the money! I, as a member of an RLDS/Restoration Branch, have been saying that same thing for a while now. Perhaps you and I can collaborate to get Wikipedia to start reflecting reality instead of the status quo! --Nerd42 (talk) 17:08, 16 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Good work

[edit]

Just wanted to drop a note and say thanks for the good work you've been doing. I know I'm stubborn and often a bit harsh, but I try to side on what is best for the Wikipedia community, rather than perceptions from outsiders. I appreciate the work you've been doing - especially as my own edits have decreased significantly lately. Would like to know more of your background (based on your user name), but again, thanks for all you've been doing - and for keeping a level head. You've learned the culture quickly and once your edits are up, I'd be comfortable nominating you for adminship. So when you feel you have enough edits, and are involved in various community projects, such as the welcoming committee, vandalism unit, or whatever, let me know and I'll gladly nominate. It just takes time and effort to get you to that point. -Visorstuff 15:01, 28 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Proposal at Talk:Mormonism

[edit]

Just a note to let you know that I like the idea you've suggested here and think it's a good one. I'm holding off on posting to that talk page, though, because I'm worried that it may be understood as a commitment to help with the possible move, and I won't be able to contribute to WP on a regular basis for quite some time. Still, thought you may like to have another person's support on it — good thinking. Tijuana Brass¡Épa! 23:34, 5 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
