Image without license

[edit]

Unspecified source for Image:Gallery038 copy.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Gallery038 copy.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 04:09, 28 July 2008 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? --MifterBot (TalkContribsOwner) 04:09, 28 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (Image:275px-Cynder ten.png)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:275px-Cynder ten.png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:03, 28 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Gallery025_med.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Gallery025_med.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? Melesse (talk) 21:01, 29 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Image:Gallery038.jpg

[edit]

I have tagged Image:Gallery038.jpg as {{no rationale}}, because it does not provide a fair use rationale. If you believe the image to be acceptable for fair use according to Wikipedia policy, please provide a rationale explaining as much, in accordance with the fair use rationale guideline, on the image description page. Some examples can be found at Wikipedia:Use rationale examples. Please also consider using {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags/Non-free. Thank you. Orphaned non-free media (Image:Gallery038 med.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Gallery038 med.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. AfD nomination of Cynder (character)

[edit]

I have nominated Cynder (character), an article you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Cynder (character). Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. TTN (talk) 22:56, 14 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The article Spyro's Kingdom has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Very little verifiability behind this besides stuff from Internet forums, and even then it's nothing but speculation. Moreover, the sources fail to mention information about this upcoming game. Wikipedia is not a crystal ball.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. –MuZemike 08:42, 15 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Spyro Wiki

[edit]

Hello, I know you're an admin at the Spyro Wiki and I wanted to know if I had your permission to copy parts of the articles at the Spyro Wiki to add parts of them to this page I made. ---StevenBjerke 19:36, 12 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

IP vandals

[edit]

I declined your request at WP:AIV to block 184.18.129.2, simply because neither you nor anyone else had ever given any warnings to this person. While egregious vandalism is grounds for blocking without warning, the type of edits that this person is making really aren't grounds for blocking until they've been warned sufficiently. If this behavior continues, please give a {{uw-unsor3}} warning, and {{uw-unsor4}} if it still keeps going; only if it keeps going after the level-4 warning will this kind of editing be grounds for an immediate block. Malefor in Skylanders response

[edit]

I had him removed because we've been listing characters that appeared in the video game. If we were to start listing characters that appear in the comics, we should have a separate section on the List of Skylanders characters page. If Malefor does make an appearance in the video games, then we can move him to the villains' section. --Rtkat3 (talk) 15:04, 15 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Kaos and Spyro. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Two things. The first one is that there is a deletion discussion for the List of Skylanders characters page that you once added Malefor's IDW appearance if you want to help prevent it's deletion. The second thing is that I was wondering if you are looking forward to the upcoming Skylanders: Imaginators video game that will have an appearance by Crash Bandicoot alongside the customizable Skylanders. I can't say what element he'll be assigned. That will be for the creators to decide. --Rtkat3 (talk) 18:09, 24 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
