Sandbox feedback

[edit]

Hey Awc32! I've taken a look at your sandbox. It's a good start, and I look forward to seeing how it develops. Here are a couple of suggestions to consider:

  1. "As everyone knows, the world is getting more and more dangerous each and every year, especially in schools and on college campuses" - I don't know that this is something "everyone knows". In fact, I would argue the opposite. While there may be an increase in certain markers of dangerousness (like school shootings), there has been a relative decrease in others (like mass riots, police brutality, spread of infectious diseases, race-based crimes, and many others). This argument also does not hold true for non-US locales, which is a problem because you've said "the world". Is "the world" more dangerous now than it was, say, during WWII?
  2. Could use a couple more sources, particularly (if possible) non-Clemson sources. Has this group been covered in local papers? Could you use a journal article to support your argument that student police groups are helpful? Nikkimaria (talk) 02:33, 30 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
