June 2009[edit]
Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Bill Thompson (New York) has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): \bfacebook\.com (links: http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#/pages/bill-thompson/26822605137?v=info&viewas=1380300466).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 22:24, 29 June 2009 (UTC)

Repeated insertion of unsourced information[edit]
Please do not add content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did to Bill Thompson (New York). Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Your repeated insertion of information regarding Thompson's purported investment responsibilities, without comment and without proper sourcing, is disruptive. If you have a source for the information, provide it or discuss the issue on the Talk page before trying to insert it again. Thank you.Cloonmore (talk) 23:41, 23 July 2009 (UTC)
