OOH, I didn't insult them. they took Hob galding to ANI. I didn't mean to be offensive, my brain kinda switched off, and I thought their username was HOBGOBLIN not Hob Galding. That is totally on me. Please stop[edit]

I have warned you in November last year to stop treating Wikipedia as a webhost or a social media site and to refrain from editing userspace excessively. Furthermore, multiple other editors have already pointed out to you on your talk page to avoid "peanut gallery" comments at ANI. You have stated in the past that you will refrain from doing so again, but you have made this comment - the kind that you have promised not to make again. Plus, I have been noticing that you spend a good majority of time here editing your userspace pages and making userboxes. Wikipedia isn't here for you to play around with userboxes, it is an encyclopedia and not a webhost. If any of this behavior continues, you risk getting blocked for a lack of competence or not being here to build an encyclopedia. I don't want you to be blocked because I want to retain new editors, not turn them away, but please try to edit mainspace pages instead of focusing on user and project space for now. Strongly seconded regarding peanut gallery comments at ANI, I was just coming here to say the same thing. Further, what was the point of this reply at the Teahouse? It is just about word-for-word identical to the reply immediately above it; further, referencing linking to Youtube is rarely acceptable per WP:YOUTUBE. Why restore this ANI report?[edit]

As City of Silver points out in that discussion, ANI was an inappropriate forum to take this to. If a user wishes to self-revert in such cases, they are free to do so. If you didn't realize that ANI was an overreaction, I'd strongly recommend taking a break from ANI or better familiarizing yourself with norms there. You were correct in that BSB should NOT be clerking ANI in any form. They have nowhere near the experience level necessary to understand the nuances and intricacies involved. Even if I was correct in part, I overstepped and that was unacceptable of me. They were correct in this instance (or at least not wrong), and I don't think they've made any mistakes on the drama boards recently.
