Hello, I'm GiantSnowman. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Geoffrey Castillion, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. GiantSnowman 21:37, 10 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add or change content, as you did to Gévero Markiet, without verifying it by citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. GiantSnowman 10:50, 17 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Nana Bediako. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. GiantSnowman 17:33, 18 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I personally don't think Transfermarkt is reliable, so please use Worldfootball or Footballzz instead. 10:31, 19 March 2013 (UTC)

Descent categories

[edit]

Hello. Just to point out that being born in a particular country doesn't make someone of that country's descent. Many, many people are born in a country to which they have no ethnic connection, because their parents happened to be in that country at the time. If you're going to add descent categories, you need to find a source that explicitly confirms the subject's ancestry, not just their birthplace or former nationality. Football stats sites rarely do that. cheers, Struway2 (talk) 10:50, 19 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
