The article Jaz'd! Markets has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group or service and which would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Speedy deletion of Jazd

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Jazd requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company or corporation, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for companies and corporations.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. 132 20:22, 7 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Azerbaijan web directory

[edit]

Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. — Rankiri (talk) 21:21, 7 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading File:Grand hotel europe.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. [midnight comet] [talk] 17:17, 6 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Azerbaijan Hotels

[edit]

Hi there,

In relation to your email - the page you refered to was a category page so you are unable to ha ve your article like that. It requires each hotel to have its own article. This is not an option because the community is likely to mark these as not notable.

In relation to the listing of each hotel, they are blatant advertising, and are not acceptable on Wikipedia, I'm sorry.

I have listed the article for speedy deletion, but i suggest you do work on it, but in your own userspace. I have copied it to your userspace for you (see here: User:Balas 571/Azerbaijan Hotels Sandbox). I am happy to help you out with these to make them up to standard, although I don't have knowledge on the subject.

Any questions ask them here.

Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Azerbaijan Hotels, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Thank you.  bsmithme  19:39, 8 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This article needs to be fundamentally re-written in order to conform to Wikipedia’s policy on neutrality. As it stands now, it reads as though it was written by someone directly involved with the organization—much like it was an advertisement—and that is why it is a candidate for speedy deletion. As was noted on your talk page by Patchy1, you are welcomed to re-write the article so that it is acceptable and then recreate the article at that time. Thank you. Thank you for your comments. I am new in wikipedia and trying to improve article but also have one question. If you pay attention to the article its talking about the general hotels in azerbaijan. How can it be directory written article by some company? its not even talking about any individual company. The reason have written this article is that it would be easy for public to find hotels in Azerbaijan and learn more about them before Expedua or other travvel agencies trick them :) I can even make a new website about it but what is the chance of it to come up on top in search engines. Thats why i have choosen wikipedia. Please discuss more if you have a chance. Best.

Replaceable fair use Image:Austin hotel.jpg

Replaceable fair use
Replaceable fair use

Thanks for uploading Image:Austin hotel.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the media description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per our non-free content policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. 72.88.35.224 (talk) 03:44, 14 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed.
