Hi
[edit]Thanks for your edits. In regards to Bill Winters, the source given only discusses the 60-man roster, not the 45-man roster (which is the actual final roster). It also says he was placed on the non-football related injury list and was the out for the remainder of the season (meaning he was still on the roster anyway). Also, the way it's written is kind of misleading. It says "He made the final roster but suffered a ruptured appendix", which makes it seem like he made the final roster first and then suffered a ruptured appendix, which isn't true because the ruptured appendix happened first. Thoughts? WikiOriginal-9 (talk) 03:31, 9 November 2017 (UTC)
- Go to New York Times article Wednesday August 10, 1977, Michael Katz quote by head coach McVay WE ARE GOING TO SAVE A FINAL ROSTER FOR HIM that is how much we think of him. Let me know what you think. You also took down two pictures one with me with the Bandits and another me in the water they were up and then you took them down. You asked us to have the photographer who took them e mail to confirm that was down months age, can you help me get them back up it makes the page nice. Let me know no worries just trying to be accurate.
- Thanks for finding that quote. With regard to the pictures, you're confusing me with someone else. You can go to the article and click "view history" to see who has edited the page. WikiOriginal-9 (talk) 07:01, 9 November 2017 (UTC)
Images in Bill Winters (American football)
[edit]I have removed the images that you added today to Bill Winters (American football) because of license concerns. In one case, the image is clearly not your own work, because it was done by the New York Giants, and I have flagged that one as a copyright violation. In the other cases, the images appear to be copied, and based on past history, I have tagged them for deletion as well. —C.Fred (talk) 21:14, 15 November 2018 (UTC)
C.Fred... I understand with the New York Giants team picture that I'm in, why it was removed but as a former player I will contact the Giants front office to get the appropriate release. Here is previous communication that I have had regarding the other images that you said you have tagged for deletion. Please see that we have already addressed these issues. Sharon Bailey is my girlfriend of almost 40 years that took the images you are saying you have flagged to delete. Therefore that's the reason for the poor quality you are referring to. Thanks for your help regarding this important matter... Bill Winters

Non-free rationale for File:Acting Headshot.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Acting Headshot.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F6 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
