  • What's your relationship with Bijan Daneshmand?--Bbb23 (talk) 00:34, 7 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
    I am Bijan Daneshmand Bdbdan (talk) 00:35, 7 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
What is your interest? Why do you delete all that I updated? Bdbdan (talk) 00:37, 7 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Per WP:COI you cannot edit the article directly. You may only propose changes on the article Talk page. In addition, when you propose changes, you must declare your COI. You must also declare your COI on your userpage. If you violate any of these rules, you risk being blocked.--Bbb23 (talk) 00:44, 7 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Kindly tell me what I should do. I am not a professional updater of Wiki. Everything here is true and can be looked up? Any guidance is highly appreciated. This weekend we were going to add press references. Thanks Bdbdan (talk) 00:49, 7 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I don't know who "we" is, but you are not going to add anything to the article. I just reverted you, and it was after I warned you not to edit the article. One more edit to the article, and I will block you. You have done nothing at Wikipedia except to promote yourself; you're lucky you lasted this long.--Bbb23 (talk) 00:51, 7 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I am asking you, please, how to declare this COI? Bdbdan (talk) 00:57, 7 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Read WP:DISCLOSE. If you still have trouble understanding, ask at the WP:Teahouse.--Bbb23 (talk) 01:01, 7 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I am still struggling. Can I get a friend, unpaid, to write on Wiki, and Disclose their COI that they are writing/ making/ wanting to make updates on my behalf? I am finding it v confusing on how to use the templates, where to use them etc. You can google me or other searches, all my art, acting, film, tv, radio can be checked. There is nothing extra mentioned.... Thanks Bdbdan (talk) 01:16, 7 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
It doesn't matter whether the friend is unpaid. They have the same problem with COI, and they still would not be able to edit the article directly. I'm not sure what you would accomplish by delegating in that manner. Anyway, I've told you what to do and what not to do. As I said, if you still have questions, you can ask at the Teahouse, but my role as an administrator is to prevent certain kinds of conduct on Wikipedia, not to mentor you in your desire to promote yourself. I'm pretty much done.--Bbb23 (talk) 01:28, 7 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you. I think I best do nothing, and allow others, unconnected to me, independent, to update my page, if and when they want, according to Wiki rules. I was simply trying to have the correct and updated info. Wiki does not promote me. I use Wiki to look up others, subjects etc. I find it useful. Thanks for your guidance.
