From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A tag has been placed on your user page, User:Be(you)full, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be blatant advertising which only promotes or publicises a company, product, group or service, and which is a violation of our policies regarding acceptable use of user pages; user pages are intended for active editors of Wikipedia to communicate with one another as part of the process of creating encyclopedic content, and should not be mistaken for free webhosting resources. Please read the guidelines on spam, the guidelines on user pages, and, especially, our FAQ for Organizations.

If you can indicate why the page is not blatant advertising, contest the deletion by clicking on the button that looks like this: Click here to contest this speedy deletion which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy deletion candidate). Doing so will take you to your user talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also edit this page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would help make it encyclopedic. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. 331dot (talk) 16:56, 17 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with User:Be(you)full. If you believe the page should not be deleted, you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that says: Contest this speedy deletion, which appears inside the speedy deletion notice. This will allow you to make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. This is not a reflection on your cause or goal; I wish you nothing but success, but Wikipedia is not for telling the world about your good causes. 331dot (talk) 17:08, 17 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Because we have a policy against usernames which give the impression that the account represents a group, organization or website, I have blocked this account; please take a moment to create a new account with a username that represents only yourself as an individual and which complies with our username policy.

It also appears that your account is intended to be used for the purpose of telling the world about an organization, person or cause that you consider worthwhile. Unfortunately, many good causes are not sufficiently notable for their own Wikipedia article, and all users are discouraged from editing in any area where they have an inherent conflict of interest. You may wish to consider one of these alternative outlets.

If your username does not represent a group, organization or website, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} below this notice.

You may simply create a new account, but you may prefer to change your username to one that complies with our username policy, so that your past contributions are associated with your new username. If you would prefer to change your username, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} below this notice. Thank you. This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

I believe that there was a misunderstanding and this is not a group or a business page Be(you)full 19:42, 17 November 2014 (UTC)

Decline reason:

No, it's a project, and projects often involve more than one person in their organisation. Wikipedia accounts are for individuals not organisations. You don't have to use your own name (some do, some don't, and some conceal them in a cryptic form). You must not use the name of the project by itself. You can be "Herbert Sparkle", or "Fred @ Be(you)full" or whatever you pick (but obviously not "Dell Computers" or "Microsoft"...). Peridon (talk) 20:01, 17 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

As you are associated with the project you wish to write about, you should read Wikipedia:Conflict of interest and the Wikipedia:Plain and simple conflict of interest guide, also Wikipedia is not here to tell the world about your noble cause. In order to be accepted, an article will need to establish Wikipedia:Notability by showing references to "significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject."
