Information icon Hello, I'm Larry Hockett. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source, so I removed it. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! Larry Hockett (Talk) 15:08, 23 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks Larry, I added a citation. Good job letting me know! Benjaminboyle89 (talk) 15:33, 23 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Uri Geller, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Lard Almighty (talk) 15:37, 23 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I have plenty of scientifically valid sources but now I’m permanently banned!

Homo Erectus lasted 2000 years, this is why Sapiens won’t last that long. Benjaminboyle89 (talk) 15:55, 23 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:Benjamin Boyle, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Stop icon
You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for advertising or promotion, as you did at Uri Geller. From your contributions, this seems to be your only purpose.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  — Newslinger talk 15:50, 23 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

UTRS 31430[edit]

https://utrs-beta.wmflabs.org/appeal/31430 has been closed

I'm sorry, but I cannot unblock you. I am declining your unblock request because it does not fully address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. Please describe in greater detail how your editing was unconstructive and how you would edit constructively if unblocked.

Please read Wikipedia's Guide to appealing blocks for more information. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Guide_to_appealing_blocks)

As you still have access to your talk page, and as there is no private information associated with your appeal, please post your unblock request to your user talk page for administrator review. Place the following at the bottom of your talk page, filling in "Your reason here "

 {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

Thank you for your attention to these matters.

June 2020[edit]

Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions; however, it appears you may have written a Wikipedia article about yourself, at Draft:Benjamin Boyle. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – please see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to or change an existing article about yourself, you are welcome to propose the changes by visiting the article's talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was the page I created deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss this with the deleting administrator. Thank you. --Deep fried okra (schalte ein) 16:21, 23 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Sourcing[edit]

"All content must be cited from reliable sources that are unconnected with the subject and have a reputation for fact checking." I don't think the Tallini is going to meet this requirement. Cheers, --Deep fried okra (schalte ein) 16:29, 23 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I’m happy for my own page to be deleted because I am writing that for myself and after looking further I know not to do that but I should be aloud edit other pages and update them.

Especially because most of the editors are Sapiens and editing and in control pages of my species, Noeticus. Benjaminboyle89 (talk) 16:34, 23 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not create hoaxes on Wikipedia, as you did at User:Benjaminboyle89/sandbox. Doing so is considered to be vandalism and is prohibited. If you are interested in how accurate Wikipedia is, a more constructive test method would be to try to find inaccurate statements that are already in Wikipedia—and then to correct them if possible. If you would like to make test edits, please use the sandbox. Under section G3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, the page has been nominated for deletion. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges.
