Speedy deletion of PSPSex.net

[edit]

A tag has been placed on PSPSex.net requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for web content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the article or have a copy emailed to you. [edit]

Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with PSPSex.Net. Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion. Thank you. FlyingToaster 05:12, 6 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop. If you continue to introduce inappropriate pages to Wikipedia, such as PSPSex.Net, you will be blocked from editing. The article does not show any notability of the company. Take a look here for guidelines to make a company notable here in Wikipedia. Esanchez(Talk 2 me or Sign here) 05:23, 6 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

OK, I don't want them to tell me your "company" is notable. I want you to tell me if it the company is notable. Has there been published information about the company? One source you have is not reliable because it's coming from a forum, not from a news source. --Esanchez(Talk 2 me or Sign here) 05:26, 6 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of PSPSex.Net

[edit]

I have nominated PSPSex.Net, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/PSPSex.Net. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. NuclearWarfare (Talk) 05:29, 6 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! Welcome to Wikipedia! I note that you have been trying for some time to create an article on PSPSex.Net website, but that various incarnations of the page have been deleted. I realise that this must be very frustrating for you. I'd like, if I may, to offer a few pieces of advice that may help you in future Wikipedia editing:

  • First: stop recreating the same article. You're likely to end up with your account blocked from editing and the article name protected from creation.
  • Before you create your first page, try getting accustomed to Wikipedia editing by contributing to existing articles that interest you. For example, there may be some articles in Category:PlayStation Portable or Portal:Sony PlayStation that you could improve. This will avoid the perception that this is a single-purpose account.
  • Please read our help article on creating your first article.
  • Avoid creating or editing articles where you have a conflict of interest. For example, it is usually inappropriate to create an article about your employer.
  • When you do create an article, please ensure not only that the subject meets Wikipedia's notability guidelines, but that this is clearly indicated in the article. Although we're not limited in the same way that a paper encyclopedia is, we do have thresholds for inclusion. For a website, the relevant guidelines are here. For example, you will likely need to provide at least three solid independent external references for the significance of the website.
  • You may want to create your first article in your user space to give you more time to work on it before others see it. You can create your personal sandbox for article development by clicking this link.
  • If you want to appeal the deletion of your page directly, you may request a deletion review, but I recommend against this path, as I predict you will not get a favourable hearing.
  • Don't be tempted to add inappropriate links to pspsex.net to existing articles. That may lead to the site being blacklisted, so that no page can link to it.

I hope this helps! Bovlb (talk) 05:41, 6 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

While I was writing the above, I see that you created the article again, and it is now being considered for (non-speedy) deletion. This renders my comment about deletion review moot, but the rest of the advice still holds. Bovlb (talk) 05:46, 6 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

pspsex.net

[edit]

look at the people talking about the pspsex.net entry on wiki http://pspsex.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=10998&st=0&sk=t&sd=a

That is still not helping the article to remain. --Esanchez(Talk 2 me or Sign here) 06:23, 6 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
