Peter Byck COI
[edit]Hi Bib123456. Can I ask if you have any connection to Peter Byck? While you asking for the article to be moved to draftspace makes sense, I am just wondering that given your extensive work on the page, the only page you have ever edited on Wikipedia, if you either are Peter Byck or have some connection with him? In particular, how would you have come across a photo of him if you are not connected? Conflict of Interest editing is strongly discouraged, and any conflict of interest should be declared on either your talk page, or the talk page of the article Dexxtrall (talk) 15:02, 1 March 2021 (UTC)
- Hi Dexxtrall. Thank you so much for your response. I probably got in over my head, as I never edited on Wikipedia before and wasn't aware of all the rules. I started out just wanting to fix a couple of things on his existing page and add some links (unsure who created the page originally, but it has been up for a long time,) and then thought I'll add more info. I do work with him. I will make sure it is factual and impartial and add mention of a connection to the talk page before submitting the draft for review. Thanks again! --Bib123456 (talk) 14:07, 2 March 2021 (UTC)
