AfD nomination of Matt Hazard

[edit]

I have nominated Matt Hazard, an article you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Matt Hazard. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. ukexpat (talk) 20:56, 3 October 2008 (UTC) ukexpat (talk) 20:56, 3 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Part of the trouble psychologically is that many of us here are committed to truth and verifiability, whereas stealth marketing is based on elaborate deliberate hoaxes and lies of the sort we associate with the Soviet Union and other totalitarian systems. It smelled to us like you might be trying to spread that viral marketing campaign to Wikipedia. --Orange Mike | Talk 01:34, 4 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The other problem is that because you didn't cite much in the way of reliable sources at first, but did have links to the hoax blog and such, we had weak or no evidence of notability, but did have evidence that somebody was trying to do stealth marketing. (And yes, I always advise people to assemble their cites and put them into the very first version of the article, before even thinking about hitting the "submit" button.) I'm glad the whole thing's gotten straight now. --Orange Mike | Talk 01:45, 4 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello BlinksTale. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Li Kovacs".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Li Kovacs}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. HasteurBot (talk) 13:01, 11 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
