Short descriptions[edit]

Please note that short descriptions are not supposed to be summaries of the articles, they're only needed in cases of similar titles for disambiguation purposes. Per WP:SHORTDESC. As a result adding details such as in this edit are completely unnecessary as what was there already is already completely sufficient to distinguish it from another article of similar name. Please read Wp:SHORTDESC before you make any more changes to short descriptions. Your edits are contrary to the point of a short description, being A) too long and often B) containing unnecessary information to identify the scope of the article. If someone's short description is "17th president of X land" then adding their date of birth is 100% unnecessary and against Short Description's point. Please read the guidelines on short descriptions and understand what it is for. At this point your edits are starting to become WP:DISRUPTIVE.
