Conflict of interest?
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. If you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:
- editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
- participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors; and
- linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).
Please familiarize yourself with relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.
For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you.
Presumably this account is related to YMCArockies (talk · contribs) & Ymcaoftherockies (talk · contribs), both of which created substantially similar content. — Scientizzle 14:45, 1 June 2010 (UTC)
Welcome to Wikipedia. A page you recently created may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines for new pages, so it will shortly be removed (if it hasn't been already). Please use the sandbox for any tests, and consider using the Article Wizard. For more information about creating articles, you may want to read Your first article. You may also want to read our introduction page to learn more about contributing. Thank you.
The content in this article was essentially an advertisement. I have deleted this article and protected it against recreation as it has been recreated a few times now. Please familiarize yourself with the Wikipedia policies & guidelines linked in the welcome message above. I recommend working at Wikipedia:Article wizard. The protection can be removed if you can provide a properly-sourced article that demonstrates notability. — Scientizzle 14:45, 1 June 2010 (UTC)
- In response to your message: please try using the Wikipedia Article Wizard. Go through all the steps and choose the "Userspace draft" option in the last step. You'll need to cite reliable sources to make the article claims verifiable and assert encyclopedic notability. Drop by my talk page when you've created a draft and I'll help you move it to the main space if it's appropriate. — Scientizzle 20:06, 6 June 2010 (UTC)
