Henny Youngman[edit]

Hi, can you cite the addition that you have added? --Rsrikanth05 (talk) 12:48, 5 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, unfortunately, Youtube links cannot be used as sources. A source that can be used has to be Reliable, see WP:RS. Also, articles need to be neutral, this is an encyclopaedia, not a blog or a social media site. --Rsrikanth05 (talk) 04:51, 6 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, the best way to do so is get a secondary print source. Do read up on WP:RS. It should help a lok. Cheers, --Rsrikanth05 (talk) 06:36, 6 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

A belated welcome![edit]

Sorry for the belated welcome, but the cookies are still warm!

Here's wishing you a belated welcome to Wikipedia, Cadavra8. I see that you've already been around a while and wanted to thank you for your contributions. Though you seem to have been successful in finding your way around, you may benefit from following some of the links below, which help editors get the most out of Wikipedia:

Also, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page, consult Wikipedia:Questions, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there.

Again, welcome! Rsrikanth05 (talk) 04:52, 6 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for June 21[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Frankenstein Meets the Wolf Man, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page House of Frankenstein (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Pride[edit]

Irrespective of whether you were or weren't on the board of appeal, I'm sure you'll be aware that original research is not acceptable; your statements must be verifiable with cited sources.

And whilst Philomena did win on appeal, the point remains that it used the word "fuck" four times (more than Pride) and received PG-13, as The Washington Post makes note in their article on the subject here: [1]

Thank you, 90.197.148.97 (talk) 16:08, 17 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits[edit]

Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 21:35, 21 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks! I'd added the link because Santa Monica in the same sentence had one and I felt I should do likewise. I've now removed mine. Happy New Year! Cadavra8Cadavra8 (talk) 17:25, 30 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

March 2016[edit]

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Long Day's Journey into Night may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s and 1 "[]"s likely mistaking one for another. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
  • ] (Mary), [[Gabriel Byrne]] (James), [[Michael Shannon]] (James, Jr.), [[John Gallagher, Jr.]] (Edmond] and [[Colby Minifie]] (Cathleen).

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. Thanks for the message. I did link Baker to the disambiguation page because he doesn't have one of his own, but I suppose it's better not to do that. Taylor was indeed a mistake, though, and I'll fix it promptly!

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Shaw Brothers Studio, you may be blocked from editing. Alexf(talk) 20:43, 10 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sorry, but VANDALISM? I made a grammatical correction on the Shaw Brothers page, and my additional "jake" definition is well-known and even substantiated by most dictionaries, including Oxford, Merriam-Webster and Collins. All my edits over the years have been in good faith and I find this accusation extremely disturbing. Please explain why you think this constitutes vandalism.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Lionel Atwill, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page The Devil Is a Woman (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Thank you! I merely copied the link from his filmography, but that was obviously incorrect. I'll fix this promptly.
