To get some practice editing you can use a sandbox. You can create your own personal sandbox for use any time. It's perfect for working on bigger projects. Then for easy access in the future, you can put {{My sandbox}}
on your user page. By the way, seeing as you haven't created a user page yet, simply click here to start it.
Please remember to:
- Always sign your posts on talk pages. You can do this either by clicking on the button on the edit toolbar or by typing four tildes
~~~~
at the end of your post. This will automatically insert your signature, a link to your talk page, and a timestamp. - Leave descriptive edit summaries for your edits. Doing so helps other editors understand what changes you have made and why you made them.
[edit]Hello, I'm Walter Görlitz. I noticed that you recently removed content from Politics of Canada without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Politics of Canada. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Walter Görlitz (talk) 07:27, 7 March 2022 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize pages by deliberately introducing incorrect information, as you did at List of federal political parties in Canada, you may be blocked from editing. Walter Görlitz (talk) 07:27, 7 March 2022 (UTC)
I would wonder why you are vandalizing truth, PPC was a party than could be voted for in the recent federal elections, and your ignorance to that does not make you correct in censoring their representation on this page. I challenge you to source information disproving my statement as I can provide evidence to show they are a real representative party of Canada. CanadaLibertarianAccountablility (talk) 07:31, 7 March 2022 (UTC)
Hi CanadaLibertarianAccountablility! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of List of federal political parties in Canada several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.
All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree at Talk:List of federal political parties in Canada, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Thank you. Walter Görlitz (talk) 07:31, 7 March 2022 (UTC)
[edit]Please stop changing correct political positions. Worse still is stating that I am the one vandalizing the articles when you are not 1) applying a neutral point of view, 2) going against how reliable sources define the parties and 3) not attempting to change consensus by offering your own reliable sources on the article's talk page to counter the longstanding positions. Walter Görlitz (talk) 07:34, 7 March 2022 (UTC)
- For instance, you have made this edit thrice in the past hour. You realize that there is a source there, right? That source is https://books.google.ca/books?id=oSJoDwAAQBAJ&pg=PA263&redir_esc=y#v=onepage&q&f=false . Do you see the PPC listed at that source? Find one that references the the PPC have either "grown in prominence" or have exerted influence in the political process. I fear you will be blocked if you fail to enter into dialogue.
