Your archival attempt removed four days worth of recent posts. Are you working to fix this or should I revert? Cheers, caknuck ° is geared up for football season 07:11, 31 December 2008 (UTC)

Bizarre, I fixed it. Canis Lupus 07:18, 31 December 2008 (UTC)

FYI, I noticed an archive naming problem apparently resulting from your archive bot change and mentioned it at Wikipedia talk:Administrators' noticeboard/Archive 10#Archiving. Flatscan (talk) 06:56, 2 January 2009 (UTC)

eastafricanmusic.com

Hello. I see you are removing all references and external links pointing to [http://eastafricanmusic.com eastafricanmusic.com] website. The users, including myself, who have used that website as a reference, have done so due to its usefulness, and never, ever for spamming purposes. The website is maintained by Doug Paterson, a musical anthropologist specialising in East African music, who has, just for example, contributed these [1] [2] rough guides. Given that, it is fair to say that the website offers highly reliable information, being by no means readily available elsewhere. Removing reliable sources is a violation of Wikipedia guidelines, so could you please stop doing so. Alternatively, try find even better sources. I wish you good luck. Julius Sahara (talk) 19:20, 3 January 2009 (UTC)

Please note that that domain has been mass added recently probably by someone related to the site, which is why I removed it. Canis Lupus 19:21, 3 January 2009 (UTC)
But you removed also all links that website, not only recent mass additions. BTW, could you please tell which user or IP was behind the "mass addition". I haven't seen a one. I don't think you mean 63.229.0.184, since all he/she did was fixing broken links pointing to that website (which had to moved from AOL servers for obvious reasons). A creditable effort indeed. List of Latin phrases

All the Lists of Latin phrases have already a <references /> section, virtue of the template {{Latin outtro}}. What exactly did you try to achieve? I suggest you revert your edits. Michael Bednarek (talk) 14:35, 4 January 2009 (UTC)

sorry I was looking that the edit page and did not realize that {{Latin outtro}} contained refs. thanks for the heads up. Canis Lupus 14:38, 4 January 2009 (UTC)

references

I suggest you use "{{reflist}}" insead of "<references>."—Markles 15:17, 4 January 2009 (UTC)

From {{Reflist}}: "Note that there is no consensus that small font size should always be used for all references; when normal-sized font is more appropriate on an article, use <references /> instead." Michael Bednarek (talk) 02:50, 5 January 2009 (UTC)

Blanking of page

I reverted your blanking of User:Mridea's page - the page is being worked on in user space. The page is indeed an advertisement at current, the plan is that they get the references and then I will clean up the article. neuro(talk) 19:50, 5 January 2009 (UTC)

Another great catch by the "Lightning" Wolf...

Diff. I spent bloody hours last night trying to fix all those links after a couple of page moves - I thought I'd probably missed some. Thanks for catching that one. And see you 'round the toolserver :) Cheers, Paxse (talk) 05:25, 7 January 2009 (UTC)

if you ever need help cleaning up or anything else feel free to ask. Canis Lupus 05:26, 7 January 2009 (UTC)

Project watchlists

Thank you very much for generating the project watchlists for the Louisville and Kentucky wikiprojects. I had to do a subsequent edit to these to remove an old section after the section you updated.

Would it be possible to add links to the talk pages for each listed page after entry, like so:

  1. Louisville, Kentucky (Talk)
  2. Category:Louisville, Kentucky (Talk)

It would be useful to be able to track what goes on with the talk pages as well. Thanks! Stevie is the man! TalkWork 21:49, 4 January 2009 (UTC)

I want to note I wasn't looking for a one-time deal here, and it isn't very appropriate that my request wasn't fulfilled as described. It may be best not to assist people if you can't do what they actually request. Just some friendly advice. Stevie is the man! TalkWork 16:58, 7 January 2009 (UTC)
I do apologize Ive been busy. Ill finish up the setup. Canis Lupus 00:26, 8 January 2009 (UTC)
Thank you for following up. It looks great. I'm sorry -- I didn't mean to be harsh, but I thought I was left for dead on this.  :) Stevie is the man! TalkWork 05:57, 8 January 2009 (UTC)

It appears that this is a natural result of the account creation process. I apologise for the accusation. --Deskana (talk) 20:20, 15 January 2009 (UTC)
