Potential image copyright violations[edit]

Speedy deletion nomination of Arcade Independence Square[edit]

A tag has been placed on Arcade Independence Square requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This article or image appears to be a direct copy from http://www.arcadeindependencesquare.com/about.php. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

Grand Hyatt Colombo[edit]

A building cannot be under construction and completed at the same time. IP editors were adding Grand Hyatt Colombo to the completed sections List of tallest structures in Sri Lanka and List of tallest buildings and structures in South Asia whilst also leaving it in the under construction sections. Worse, in the completed sections they were putting down 2017 as the completed year.

If the building has been completed add it to the completed sections but remove it from the under construction sections. And provide WP:RS to show that it has been completed. Don't expect other editors to clean up your mess. Wikipedia is an encyclopaedia, it is not a tool to promote your own country.--obi2canibe^{talk contr} 10:26, 18 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
