List of tallest buildings and structures in South Asia

This list of tallest buildings in South Asia ranks skyscrapers and structures in South Asia based on official height.

The tallest building is Palais Royale which is located in the Indian city of Mumbai[1][2][3] and the tallest structures are two radio masts of the Indian Navy of INS Kattabomman for VLF-transmissions, which are located in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu.[citation needed] However, the Iconic Tower Grand will be the tallest building in South Asia which will be located in the Bangladeshi city of Dhaka, the capital and Iargest city in Bangladesh.[4] The construction will commence at 2018 and complete and start opening in 2021 that will cost approximately $1.2 billion, which will also be the most expensive building in the South Asian continent.[5]

This lists ranks buildings in Indian Subcontinent that stand at least 150 m (490 ft) tall. Only completed buildings and buildings that have been topped out are included. Mumbai has more entries on this list than any other city and also has the tallest building on the list. Mumbai is followed by Karachi, New Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, and Colombo in number of entries on the list.
