The article MidNite DLite has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

WP:NOTABILITY, possible hoax; this google search gets no hits.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Rohit Gupta, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Punjabi (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Managing a conflict of interest

[edit]

Information icon Hello, Carflo213. We welcome your contributions to Wikipedia, but if you have an external relationship with some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Rohit Gupta, you may have a conflict of interest or close connection to the subject.

All editors are required to comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view content policy. People who are very close to a subject often have a distorted view of it, which may cause them to inadvertently edit in ways that make the article either too flattering or too disparaging. People with a close connection to a subject are not absolutely prohibited from editing about that subject, but they need to be especially careful about ensuring their edits are verified by reliable sources and writing with as little bias as possible.

If you are very close to a subject, here are some ways you can reduce the risk of problems:

  • Avoid or exercise great caution when editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with.
  • Avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).
  • Exercise great caution so that you do not accidentally breach Wikipedia's content policies.

Please familiarize yourself with relevant content policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies. Note that Wikipedia's terms of use require disclosure of your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations.
I post this because the overwhelming majority of your edits (going back to 2013) are related to Gupta. See also WP:Single purpose account. (WP:SPA)

Do you have any connection to Ryder212 (talk · contribs) or Aterrence (talk · contribs), who also are mostly making edits related to Rohit Gupta? 220 of Borg 19:42, 18 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Block on Commons

[edit]

@EugeneZelenko:

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

Hello, I understand the mistakes I did and ensure it will not happen again. I respect wikipedia and it's administrators time and effort for everything you all do to maintain its integrity for the readers. I have never had the intention to do otherwise but only learn and enhance what you create. I clearly made mistakes in selecting the correct licence due to my inexperience and also respectfully appreciate your kind assistance in articulating what should and shouldn't be done. In the past I couldn't understand the process well therefore I sincerely request to help me learn and grow in an attempt to be a better wikipedian. I sincerely thank you in advance for your kind assistance and once again humbly request to assist. I would hope you will consider that anyone willing to correct their mistakes should be given a chance to improve.

Decline reason:

Procedural decline only; this account is not blocked. If you are unable to edit, please exactly follow the instructions which appear when you attempt to do so. Yamla (talk) 10:52, 26 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

You was blocked on Commons by commons:User:Elcobbola because of Wikipedia:Sock puppetry. --EugeneZelenko (talk) 13:42, 26 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@EugeneZelenko:, Hello there, I did read up to get informed and educate us about sockpuppetry [which I had no idea about) and clearly as you pointed out we made a mistake. I realize that if using the same computer we need to inform at wikipedia. The other account is used by my cousin who uses my laptop for his work related as he relies on me for economic support. Please know, every action has been only in line with wikipedia guidelines without any malicious intent by any stretch of imagination in terms of editing articles etc. In case of any errors, if any, please know it was truly unintentional and mainly because of learning in progress. I therefore humbly request you to kindly uunblock the account thus helping us to become better wikipedians. I thank you in advance and applaud the time and effort you put in to ensure wikipedia's integrity is maintained. Rest assured we shall continue to do the same which you will notice along this journey. Thank you. Carflo213 (talk) 15:49, 8 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

This account is still not blocked. If you are talking about Wikimedia Commons, that's a separate project and you'll need to ask there. Note that WP:MEAT will likely apply. --Yamla (talk) 15:56, 8 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Yamla: Thank you so much for the guidance. Really appreciate it. Will reach out there. Carflo213 (talk) 18:42, 8 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Rohit Gupta, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Telecom (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Eng?

DO NOT COPY

[edit]

"DO NOT COPY" is a basic concept in academia. The plot summary you included when you created Survive or Die here was copied from somewhere, for instance I see the summary in this Google cached page prior to your creation of that article. This is unacceptable. Copying is intellectually dishonest and lazy, and constitutes intellectual theft. Plagiarism and copyright violations will not be tolerated at Wikipedia.
