An edit toward "baggage allowance"

As you are a major contributor to baggage allowance, I left some details on the talk page regarding the spelling of certain word. Any thoughts?--PrestonH 05:16, 29 September 2007 (UTC)

I originally spelled it correctly, using ACROSS, then someone went in and reverted it to accross which is not correct. I then change dit back to the correct spelling. What is the issue at hand? Carter | Talk it up 05:20, 29 September 2007 (UTC)

Speedy deletion request for Glass bottomed boat

I'm declining the speedy deletion request for Glass bottomed boat because the article isn't complete nonsense under Wikipedia:Criteria for speedy deletion. Personally, I think the article is rather disgusting and doesn't provide any sort of edification, but that's just my opinion. I would suggest deletion via WP:PROD or WP:CSD if you want to pursue deleting it. --Elkman (Elkspeak) 14:53, 29 September 2007 (UTC)

List of Presidents

Carterdriggs, I definitely think adding the list of Presidents is worthwhile. Is there anyone specifically reverting you on those? --Sue Anne 01:55, 30 September 2007 (UTC)

There was one reversion on the Los Angeles Temple and one on the San Diego Temple. One by an IP that I've had other problems with, and another by a regular user. I've since reverted again, and I hop they stay that way. I'm glad you feel the same. I feel they are notable as well, as there are many temple presidents who later went on to be General Authorities who oculd be wikilinked. Anyways, thanks for your support, and I look forward to working with you. Carter | Talk it up 03:40, 30 September 2007 (UTC)

Thanks

Thanks for the barnstar, Carter. I hope we can bury the proverbial hatchet. From your profile I've thought you have a lot to contribute to the Latter Day Saint movement pages, and I'm sorry we've perhaps misunderstood each other in the past. Unfortunately, I won't be working in WP much for a little while anyway, as I've got some fairly heavy real life commitments right now, but I hope to see you around in the future as I come back. Best wishes, Rich Uncle Skeleton (talk) 05:46, 30 September 2007 (UTC)

Anytime. Consider the hatchet buried. Thanks for your Glen S. Hopkinson contribs. I also reversed my position on renaming the category if you noticed. Anyways, see ya around. Carter | Talk it up 05:53, 30 September 2007 (UTC)

The RickK Anti-Vandalism Barnstar

The RickK Anti-Vandalism Barnstar
I'm awarding you this RickK Anti-Vandalism Barnstar for your great contributions to protecting and reverting attacks of vandalism on Wikipedia. Wikidudeman (talk) 23:52, 1 October 2007 (UTC)

How is the Hodgepodge working for you? Wikidudeman (talk) 00:27, 2 October 2007 (UTC)

On pagenav, When you hit "edit" and there is no page corresponding to that edit then you will get an error. This occurs when you're on a talk page and try to edit a corresponding article page that doesn't exist. Though you could easily edit it directly by just going to the page in question. Same with history that doesn't exist. Wikidudeman (talk) 01:51, 2 October 2007 (UTC)

Hi, Carter, welcome to WikiProject LGBT Studies!

We are a growing community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to identifying, categorizing, and improving articles of interest to the LGBT community. Some points that may be helpful:

  • Our main aim is to help improve LGBT-related articles, so if someone asks for help with an article, please try your hardest to help them if you are able.
  • Most important discussions take place on the project's main discussion page; it is highly recommended that you watchlist it.
  • The project has several ongoing and developing activities, such as article quality assessment, peer review and a project-wide article collaboration, all of which you are welcome to take part in. We also have a unique program to improve our lower quality articles, Jumpaclass, so please consider signing up there.
  • If you have another language besides English, please consider adding yourself to our translation section, to help us improve our foreign LGBT topics.
  • If you're planning to stay, have a square in our quilt! You can put anything you want in it.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask on the talk page, and we will be happy to help you.

And once again - Welcome!

Pot, Black anybody? ExtraDry 13:02, 7 October 2007 (UTC)
Hi, I'm an admin that's been watching the ongoing slow war over the Newington College editors for several months - you may be interested to note that the checkuser findings are in, and the sock accusations were not upheld, but at the same time not ruled out entirely. This was pretty much as I expected, I think we're essentially dealing with one single-purpose account on one side, and three or four on the other. Orderinchaos 23:35, 7 October 2007 (UTC)

Apologies

My comment on ExtraDry's talk was not directed at you. Apologies for the confusion, it was about him and another user: Mitchplusone, (small domestic there). Apologies. Twenty Years 13:15, 7 October 2007 (UTC)
