License tagging for File:Ucf pegasus mascot horse wiki.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Ucf pegasus mascot horse wiki.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

Wikipedia for Museums

[edit]

Hello again, Cassidycaj! It was great to meet everyone yesterday at St Andrews, and I hope that you enjoyed the session. I also hope that you'll see the benefit of museums working with Wiki!

Now that you've learned the basics, I hope that you'll stay logged in, and do some editing. If you're not feeling bold enough to write an article straight away, why not try a small edit or two first, or adding a link or picture? Don't worry about it being perfect - Wiki is never finished, it's a constantly evolving entity. And there's a huge community of other editors who can help.

Welcome! Now have some cake...

As promised, here's some links that I hope will help you get in to the swing of things:

If you'd like to learn more about editing in markup, there's a guide here, with the added bonus of wee aliens...

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Remember, if you are writing on a talk page, please sign your name using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date.

If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. See you soon!

Something I thought might interest you...
